Husqvarna tractors are made by AYP (American Yard Products) they also make the tractors sold under the Craftsman name as well as many others over the years. All of them have that design with the muffler going through the front frame. I've never had a fire, but I have melted a few things, it's a dumb design if you ask me...

wow i have sold Husqvarna mowers for over 7 years now, and never seen a hood catch on fire this way. Only seen 1 Husqvarna mower go in flames b/c the clutch seized up and poof went the entire wiring harness, clutch and seat. This is probably neglect to clean grass of around muffler. Look how high the grass is around the mower.

Well let see we have a troy built that it never caught on fire. It wasn't driven in high hay or grass. it wouldn't have been so bad if the plastic didn't go up so fast. The front part of the Husqvarna is made of plastic. so it burst in to flame quicker. the troy built is does not have plastic on the front of it.

im not quite sure but these weren't charged up completely and the motor gets too hot and it looses its motor life quickly, im going to get a different motor though that is more than 1 hp because this one just doesn't have enough power to climb a 20 degree slope very good

ya, i mixed ups/scooter batteries and a car battery, i think that if you have them hooked up too long then they might leak i guess, or if you charge them all in series or parallels.
