Husqvarna riding mowers pose a danger when the muffler comes into contact with anything. It will burn.. Plastic on the front cause a bigger fire then the muffler alone.

well y not just get rid of the problem by cutting the muffler off
My next door nabor bought a brand new husqvarna and it runs so smooth now we are thinking about getting one and alllllll riding lawnmowers have the muffler at the front of the mow unless it is a Zero Turn get is wildmonkeylicks
Well let see we have a troy built that it never caught on fire. It wasn’t driven in high hay or grass. it wouldn’t have been so bad if the plastic didn’t go up so fast. The front part of the Husqvarna is made of plastic. so it burst in to flame quicker. the troy built is does not have plastic on the front of it.
People, use common sense!!! Would you run this machine in to a pile of dry hay or grass?? This is what you get!!
wow i have sold Husqvarna mowers for over 7 years now, and never seen a hood catch on fire this way. Only seen 1 Husqvarna mower go in flames b/c the clutch seized up and poof went the entire wiring harness, clutch and seat. This is probably neglect to clean grass of around muffler. Look how high the grass is around the mower.
Husqvarna tractors are made by AYP (American Yard Products) they also make the tractors sold under the Craftsman name as well as many others over the years. All of them have that design with the muffler going through the front frame. I’ve never had a fire, but I have melted a few things, it’s a dumb design if you ask me…
