    I have a 99 Murray. My ig switch crapped out have to upgrade. I like the design of urs better. Plus I only have a 12.5hp briggs

    George Strait – Write this down is playing in the back ground. nice tractor i have a 1992 Murray with a 11 horse briggs and a 38 inch deck im in the middle of getting a 32 inch snowblower for it tomorrow

    OMG. i have 2 tractors i love. one a Murray select 1999 twin cylender (srry about spelling) 20 hp and a craftsman vanguard “shift on the fly” 14 hp, BOTH GRATE TRACTORS, but i use one to kill the masuetos cus it smokes a lot (vanguard) and i have to get it fixed cus i drove it and the front axle bent and it was the same type and shape as yous you have an awesome tractor verry relyable 15 year old tractor i think vanguard needs mantanence every day i use it!!!

    The Twin “II” was a revision to the original Twin, from the late 70’s. They redesigned some things like cooling parts and shrouding. The governor setup was a little different as well.

    free lol! i just got a 19.5hp briggs I/C platinum opposed twin! made in 2000 so it still has lots of lfe left lol!

    I raced one of those that had an opposed twin and dual stacks threw the hood. idk what he had for gears in it but the fucker flew check it out if ya want

    Fuel pump is run by vaccum- one way to check is unhook the line to the carb and see if it pumps fuel- check the fuel filter and fuel line as well- could be obstructed somewhere.
