Tractor Land -The Riding Mower Junkyard

Video from May 2007
Our tractor junkyard, there’s just under 50 right now. This video isn’t all of them, another ten or so are in the various structures out back. At one point we had over 70! Me and my friend have been fixing and selling these things since high school; but now with real jobs, we hardly find time to enjoy the few that do work, let alone fix broken ones!

TRACTORS NOT SHOWN: (as of Dec. ‘07)
Craftsman LT4000 -15HP OHV B&S
Sears Super 12 -12hp Tecumseh
“Big” Gilson -12hp B&S

Craftsman RE2000 -10hp Tecumseh

this is just pure awsome!!! lol

  2. LynolsOffice says:

The park jobs are mostly due to the mud and the rocks. They get stuck so much, it’s almost imposible to put the tractor where you wanted it, and you just end up leaving it wherever it gets stuck!

I just love how unorganised everything is… it must take a bit of skill to park those things up without making it neat. Good job

  4. LynolsOffice says:

Thankfully the trees hide everything, otherwise it would be quite a spectacle from our house!

  10. LynolsOffice says:

Yeah those old Simplicity’s are built tough, the new ones are pretty nice too. Wish I had more.

  11. ZippoVarga says:

I’m glad you said something positive about Simplicities. That’s what I collect and my newest one is 36 years old and the oldest just turned 50. All 9 run like a top. Check my video on 6 of the 9.

wow man, I have no friggin clue how you remember information on all of your tractors. haha, you have many different types, but where is the good ol john deeres?

  14. LynolsOffice says:

If your talking new for mowing a lawn; if you’ve got the money, get a John Deere or a Simplicity/Snapper. If you don’t have a lot of money, get a Craftsman. If you want something used and cheap to ride around on, just get whatever you can find.

  17. phill903 says:

I know JD’s last a life time. I have a herd of lawnmore tractors also.Just that they all run really good and I use them all the time.

  18. LynolsOffice says:

Because they don’t break, and I don’t pay top dollar for anything. I do have a JD 68 though, something wrong with the 8hp B&S motor.

  19. phill903 says:

How come you don’t have any John Deere’s ?

  20. briggs366 says:

  21. LynolsOffice says:

I do sell them. That’s what I do. Every spring I sell fixed up machines and make a killing. (oh and most of the tractors were free or like $50)

  22. mythbuster204 says:

Man where did you get all these tractors, if you bought them all you are really crazy. Do you know how worth is that, why don’t you sell it : engines, transmissions, tyres…

  23. centralhigh09 says:

  24. LynolsOffice says:

I don’t think we’re selling that one right now.
