Our tractor junkyard, there’s just under 50 right now. This video isn’t all of them, another ten or so are in the various structures out back. At one point we had over 70! Me and my friend have been fixing and selling these things since high school; but now with real jobs, we hardly find time to enjoy the few that do work, let alone fix broken ones!

I know JD’s last a life time. I have a herd of lawnmore tractors also.Just that they all run really good and I use them all the time.
Because they don’t break, and I don’t pay top dollar for anything. I do have a JD 68 though, something wrong with the 8hp B&S motor.
How come you don’t have any John Deere’s ?

I do sell them. That’s what I do. Every spring I sell fixed up machines and make a killing. (oh and most of the tractors were free or like $50)
Man where did you get all these tractors, if you bought them all you are really crazy. Do you know how worth is that, why don’t you sell it : engines, transmissions, tyres…

We have all the AYP’s because they were cheap and plentifull when new. Almost no stores around here sold MTD built tractors (no big stores anyway) untill Lowe’s came about 10 years ago.

Yeah that gas price was in May of ‘07, it’s gone down to about $2.81 as of 10/20

We only ever got one out of a dumpster, but we have got a few from the dump! We have a bunch fixed up now to sell in the spring of 2009; that’s when you get the best money for them.

Probably 2/3rds of them run. Or at least, ran when parked. Now do they run well, and drive, thats a different story.
